Frequently Asked Questions

How do I start a chapter in my area?

Contact us today at info@loxandloaded.org and we can chat about getting a chapter opened.

What are the requirements to start and lead a chapter?

In order to start a chapter, you must:

- Be a certified firearms instructor with instructor insurance.

- Have a range for the chapter to consistently meet monthly.

- Have a community of interested members

What do I get for my membership?

Every member gets a free Lox & Loaded official hat, access to all chapters in the U.S., special member perks and discounts, access to the community forum, and special guest speakers and events.

Why do I have to pay $118 for membership and a range fee at every chapter event?

Your membership fees goes towards administrative fees, insurance, member raffles, and securing the best possible instructors and facilities.

What do I need to bring to chapter events?

Make sure that you secure your own ear and eye protection (if not provided by the range).  Wear closed-toed shoes, and dress for the weather.  Bring ID and state firearm license if needed.  Arrive 10 minutes early so you can purchase your ammunition and complete your waiver.

If I have no experience with firearms, is Lox & Loaded for me?

Absolutely. Lox & Loaded is meant for you; you are not alone.  You will be welcomed by the others in the chapter, and as you check in, just let the instructor know you are new to firearms. We welcome all experience levels, and our community is here to support one another.

If I have experience with firearms, is Lox & Loaded for me?

Lox & Loaded is meant to be a safe, positive, and enjoyable few hours where not only can you get some practice in, but you can meet others, network, make friends, and instructors are there to enhance your skills and help take you to the next level safely.
