n the wake of Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack and a sharp rise in antisemitism, more Jews in the United States are rethinking their stance on firearms. Once hesitant, many are now turning to gun clubs like Lox & Loaded, which has quickly grown to over 1,000 members in 15 cities.

Amid rising antisemitic violence, more American Jews are turning to firearms for protection. The Secure Community Network, which oversees security for Jewish institutions, is urging synagogues to allow guns only within structured, vetted security teams—warning that unregulated carry could create more danger than safety.
